Hi, just bought my Ca, fishing license after all was said and done my total cost was 62.07 dollars. Included ocean enhancement stamp, two rod stamp, Colorado river stamp and Delta River stamp. It seems like we are beign charged too much and getting very little back from the fish and shame department.

In Ohio it is 19.00 if your under the age of 65. If your 65 older its either free or 10.00. If you get the license online it cost an extra dollar.

Back in 1983, my lifetime fishing license cost me $7.50. I think it's up to $10.50 now, for us disabled/old farts.

Last year was 12.50 for basic fishing but I got a sportsman license for 80. This year basic fishing license I think goes up to 15.

I think they are $15.00 here. I can't go to the ocean and fish. If I could, $65 would be well worth it. The money goes to conservation management, so I can't comlain too much about what they charge. If it were $100, I would still pay it because I love to fish, and I know they would be using the money to improve my fishing holes.

The last Oklahoma fishing license I got was $125.00 That was on my 18th birthday, and it was a lifetime license. I haven't even thought about a fishing license for Oklahoma since. Pretty good deal.

The year my wife and I got married, in 1997, she told me to go buy a lifetime hunting license. $400 later, I no longer have to buy any Oklahoma hunting licenses or tags. That saves me about $130 per year on hunting tags with all that I buy. Not a bad deal.

Actually, the license is $23 dollars for freshwater with an extra five that supposedly is temporary to be used to build a new freshwater hatchery, then add $10 for saltwater. If anyone believes that $5 hatchery fee will disappear, think again. The Texas legislature will roll it into the license permanently.

My wife suprised me with a lifetime hunt and fish in 2000 it was $500. I think they have gone up to $750. now. I havet needed one so I haven't check the price. Its nice not having to worry with all the tags and such. Only thing, you have to buy a trout stamp if you trout fish.
