Never really counted them but i'd say at least 6-7 trips. Maybe more or maybe less. I won't give up especially if I know their in there!!!:big_smile:

I've never been skunked a day in my life while fishing. I go to have a good time and relax. catching fish is a definate bonus. not a requirement for a good time. I flathead fish a lot and if getting skunked meant not catching any fish. i would have sold all my stuff in a yard sale years ago!! lol.

43 times in a row I think......:0a5: Seemed like it anyway, probably more like 15. A lot of places I fish don't produce often, but when they do they tend to produce big. One nice fish in 4-5 outings is pretty typical. I've got other places that will produce several fish in a night, but mostly smaller and never over about 25lbs.

I have had the boat out on the Ohio river like 6 times now and only have taken 2 fish ( 1 on each trip) so that is getting pretty old.. as far as flatheading goes, maybe 3-4 trips without at least a small flattie or a channel, as far as Channels go, do turtles count?

In the heat of July I think I had 4-5 trips on the GMR without a channel but did take a few turtles eh?

I struck out nine times in a row last winter/spring at my favorite lake. It was the first time that I'd ever been twice w/o catching something. I am working on a current streak of 3. Hopefully, tomorrow will break that :smile2: As dang cold as it's likely to be I dunno if it's going to be worth it or not.

I've been skunked 4 or 5 times in a row. It doesn't really bother me though.

I've never been skunked, just didnt always catch what I was after. I've also had a couple of trips where I had to return without wetting a line due to mechanical failures.

Got the skunk out of the boat on Monday. Got three blues, one was a respectable 20lber. Definitely nice to finally get some catfish slime in my boat again.

I am lucky to have a lot of catfish where I fish. Most of the time I don't target really big fish or flatheads, so the odds of catching something are usually pretty good and my "skunkings" are rare.

With that said the last two have come in tournaments!! :smile2: Of all the luck!! One was on Badin Lake last winter and the other was a week or so ago on Lake Norman.

Luckily for me, mine have been a year or so apart!!
