I fish when I have the free time, and usually somebody to fish with. Lately I have not wanted to fish alone.

Your example didn't come up, but I know what you are talking about.

I can't build my fishing times around them due to work, but I sometimes check them out just to see whether I can expect a good bite while I am out there.

In my opinion the best time to fish charts may or may not work for the person that wrote the chart, but for us regular guys that do not live next door to the author it is just entertainment. Local weather and local water conditions depict
the best time period that would be better for fish to be in the feeding mode.
June 12th may be good for fishing ..if the weather and water co-operate.
Go fishing when you have time and want to.

If your refering to the solunar charts, I usually check them out. I go fishing when I can based on work schedule, home schedule, etc. but I usually take a look to see what the chart is calling for!

I usually look back & see if I should have caught anything or not. From what I've seen I don't have much faith in them.

Sometimes I'll check if I'm curious. InFisherman has a good one.

I do think that cats actively feed at certain times and it varys day to day in 2-3 hour periods, but it seems like it would be next to impossible to figure out. All you have to do is be out there.

The best time to go fishing is when you go.

I don't think the catfish have highspeed access to the internet, so the charts would be difficult for them to follow. They try to stay away from the world wide web for obvious reasons.

Ditto! Even though I do fish some, it's not near enough.
