I am sure this has been ask before, but I was wondering, how many/days a year tha you spend fishing. I mainly fish weekends. I figure I spend about 30 days/nights fishing a year.

Let's just say that someone averages 4 days per month fishing, that is 60 per year. It doesnt seem hard to average that, I know though, that I do not. I prob get out 25-30 times I guess. Hopefully more in the future. Hopefully as my kids get older I'll go more often. Andrew is just 7, so I figure in a couple more years, we'll hit it hard. I told him no boat time until he completes swimming lessons at the YMCA. I think we are signing him up on Saturday.

Shoot, I would go everday if I could get away with it. I fish 2 to 3 days a week. I pull over-nighters at least one of those day. So, I guess I am probably off the charts.

Since i have retired I get to go a little more often. I try to get out there least 3-4 day for a couple hrs anyway. Don't do night fishin ,don't like going by myself.Boring and not really safe not where I go anyway. Don't have no gun and too old to try and outrun anyone.
Mellon thats a smart move putting the boy through swimming lessons, I commend you for that. Never did learn to swim myself but love being on the wqter. just have to be careful.

Never thought of it like the Mellon

If I could fish everyday I would but I don't get to. I get out about 4 times a week between may an october. So my number would be over 100 days. Don't get to fish to much during the winter.

Hmm... April (maybe even into March) through October (maybe even into November) almost every weekday during lunch (half hour) and after work (two hours or so) and at least once during the weekend (14+ hours). Much more than 46 times a year.

I have no clue as to how many times I go fishing each year. I would say including the tourneys I fish around 50 times a year.

100 per year. Guessing it will average about 100+ per year.
Would be more if my body would handle it.
I fish 12 months out of the year.

I wish I could get more time on the water. My 5 year old son isn't ready to go fishing with me a lot yet, I hope as he gets older he will want to go often.

    I'm easily over 50.

since the winter i have only missed 3 weekends. There have been some weeks that i have fished 6 days. I'm just lost i guess.

On average i fish 2 days a week...so over the year...i'm in the 120 days or so.

prob. between 100 and 150 days a yr. Some of those may be for a few hrs but a line wet any how.

    Oh by the way, 4 days X 12 months=48 :tounge_out:
