How is the Catfishing at ft. gibson

    Iam on vacation all week was at Eufaula monday didnt do very good only caught two. Was thinking of going to Gibson how is the fishing going out there.

    I fish the very northern end of ft.Gibson...........that would be low water dam.
    when they run a lot of water it's good fishing up there, the water is a lot cooler than in the lake. there is a lot more o2 in the water as well, the blues really stack in there. you will need a good sized anchor to stay up close to the rocks.

    If you come from the south put in at Mazie landing, get your shad there in the cove and head on north up the river probably 4 miles.
