Just wondering how everyone goes about chasing Mr. Whiskers. I prefer to anchor in current myself.
I always anchor but I plan to try drifting this summer.
I also anchor up when cat'n never tried drifting.
...with a rod and reel.
Sorry - but you knew someone was gonna do it sooner or later!
ALMOST ALWAYS ANCHORED.
I Fish off the bank most of the time.
I anchor near the bank most of the time
Bank for the most part until I can afford a boat!
I am learning to fish from a boat and hoping that it increases my catch ratio...Ive always fished from the banks though.
Mostly done Bankfishing ,but am doing more boat fishing each year.Perfer the boat.
Without the Wife.
however ive done a ton of bank fishing i prefer to anchor
bank fish myself
Gotta go with anchored up. Gotta use the boat for somethin. LOL!
Guess I'm the odd-ball, i usually drift.:tounge_out: I always fish from a boat and usually in lakes without much current. I like to river fish, theres just not any very close by that produces the kind of fish the area lakes do.
Since I dont have a boat I bank it 99% of the time.
What do ya do the other 1%? LOL!
We always either anchored or tied to log jams in the past, but in the last 2 years have done alot more drifting. It has paid off for us.
Fish off the bank .... until further notice:smile2:
I bank fish all the time. I have several different locations I fish. All of them are capable of producing very large cats. Some of the spots are better for Flatheads. Some of the spots are better for blues and just about all of them produce channels.:cool2:
