I have recently been out on the Ohio River and found that the blues were scattered and not hitting well. I tried drifting and anchoring, deep water(50ft) and shallow (20ft) and I just could seem to pattern them at all. The water temp was 55 and the river has been on a steady fall. Just wondering how others are fishing now.

I havent changed anything. I still use the same baits and fish the same spots from the bank as well as on a boat. I have good days and I have bad days. Although I only caught 2 Flats all summer and the past 2 weeks I have caught 6, havent really been targeting them though. Water Temp here varies from 60-68. Sorry couldnt be of much help

Any help is good help. It seems that your temps are higher than mine. When they were 60 t0 70 here I didn't have any problem getting on them. I wonder how your fishing will be when the temps start to hit 50.
