I was down there a couple days last weekend, and the fishing was very slow. But, I still caught my best, a 45lber on cut goldeye in a 30ft deep straight run. That was after the current finally picked up Saturday night. I actually think there's an overabundance of bait right now, what with all those baby shad and all of the skipjack feeding on them. Have to find the current, I believe.
