For a few years my dad and I have been digging up these green worms out of the sand close to the power plant on the Ohio side of the river and they work great.

I used to use green worms alot when I was able to go and dig for them.I always had good luck around sandy areas close to the river. They are definitely good catfish bait.

The only place I have really looked is around the Ohio River banks across from the power plant. All you need to do is dig in the sand 6-24 inches they are a dark green worm and don't get very big.
