hot weathers effect on fishing?????

    i was wondering if this weather this weekend is gonna slow down the bite on Lake Maarion or are the cats just gonna move to deeper water. any help please
     
  2. Not sure how it affects the fish but, triple digits will sure slow me down:cool2:

    Santee Catman, you sure got that right. Looks like early evening, night time, and early morning fishing for me until fall. :roll_eyes::crazy:

    Hotter the better for me!!! :tounge_out:

    The bad thig about temps in the 90's is the pleasure boaters. Once it gets in the upper 90's to triple digits even the pleasure boaters start to stay home!! :crazy:

    Fish can be caught on the hottest days. The hotter the water the highe the metabolism goes and the fish have to consume more to maintain their body weight. This means more bitinig fish!! :eek:oooh:
