Another food I miss from back home is hot tamales..I can get them here at the local mexican restaurant but they are not the same..So I make these when I get the craving..

    1lb pork sausage
    1lb ground meat
    1/2 cup flour
    1 1/2 cups of cornmeal
    3/4 cup V-8 juice
    2 tablespoons chili powder
    2 tablespoons cumin
    1 tablespoon Tabasco
    1 teaspoon salt

Mix all this up and make meatballs..

    Sauce:
    5 cups V-8 juice
    2 tablespoons cumin
    2 tablespoons chili powder
    1 teaspoon Tabasco

Mix all the sauce up in a pot and bring to a boil..Add meatballs cover and simmer for about 2 hrs..Remove from heat and let stand for 20 minutes before serving and enjoy..
