Hot dried beef spread

    1 Pkg [8 oz] cream cheese,room temp
    1 jar [2.5 oz] dried beef,shredded
    1/4 C finely chopped green pepper
    1/4 C finelt chopped red bell pepper
    1/2 Cfinely chopped onion
    1/2 t coarsly ground black pepper
    1/2 C sour cream
    1/2 C chopped pecans


    Mix cream cheese well with dried beef,peppers,onions,and black pepper.Fold in sour cream. Spoon into casserole dish. Sprinkle pecans over top.Bake at350* for 20 minuets,Serve with crackers,Serves 8-10

    Yum,Yum Rich as our Friend OhNo would say. Now that I am retired I have plenty of time to whip some of these recipes up and when it's all said and done this old bohunk will be fatter than a Big rat. Thank You,J.D.

    Now that sounds really good Richard!

    I have had that many times as a cold cheese ball but never hot.

    I will definitely be taking that to our family Christmas Eve dinner.

    bbq sause of your choice
    some mustard
    worchistire little bit
    jalepenos plus juice

    cube duck put bbq sause on just enough to cover the duck
    and the mustard and worchistire sause
    i use half a jar of jalepenos and half the juice
    marinate over nite wrap the duck in
    bacon and put on skewers be sure to wrap
    some with the jalepeno peices
    grill till the bacon is done over hot coals
    dont cook to long u want the duck med to med rare
    enjoy

    Lets not pick on the folks with no teeth. My tops were pulled a year and a half ago. I won't get a plate till this cancer thing is whipped. lol I don't need a plate, with my mouth sewed shut in a coffin. :smile2::smile2::smile2:
