Has anyone ever tried Hawg Bait before?
Never heard of it. Please explain.:confused2:
I live near were the guy makes it and have used It works very well but does not stay on very well but does catch fish and big fish it is a little high in price and you will use a lot. I use sonny's it works just as well and stays on a lot better and is alot cheaper.
Here's some proof that Hoss's works!!
We use it with Looper Rigs and have no problem with it staying on the rigs.
here's a link to their website
Russ that makes Hawg Bait said the same thing about Looper's Rigs. I'll have to try that.
I can see it working and useing looper rigs is probly best but i went to the site that is posted two above this one and that first pic, with that guy standing in the water holding that flathead,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I DIDNT SEE ANY KIND OF ROD NO WHERE.....that looks like noodleing to me ...must of diped his arm in it... lol lol
All I found was $3/pound. What do they do make it up put it in a jar and ship it? Need info so please someone that knows PM me I would appreciate it!:smile2:
Seen the picture. Right below it it said Hoggin on Rend Lake. It wasn't caught on rod/reel.
They will shipped in a plastic jar. Probably enclosed in a small carton.
We have used it for the last couple of years and it has worked great for us. Have caught many channels on it at JEPCSF&WA. We use it with Looper Rigs and my wife, Shawn & Amy (Double Caught catfish), and myself have photos on their web site. As for myself I wouldn't buy the pound jar but the 5 pound container. Makes loading rig easier. I do have other dip baits but have found that Hoss's works best for me.
I'll let everyone know and post some pics. I ordered some yesterday.
My personel favorite bait would have to be chicken liver, but i am always open to new stuff I've never heard of hawg bait what is it
It's a dip bait which is advertised to catch a lot of catfish. According to other posts it would good to use Looper's Rig with it. PM me and I can give you the info on where to find it.
Ive used hog wild dip baits with no success:sad2: I fished it in rivers and big lakes, I've heard it works well on smaller ponds?
the hog wild and hoss's hawg bait might be two different things.
