Went down to the river today, it's still up quite a bit. Current was extremely strong, and I guess I didn't have enough weight on there because I got immediately dragged into a snag with each cast. 20 minutes of this and it was time to leave, turns out I was coming down with the flu too. (I took a nap when I got home, woke up and still don't feel good.)

So all and all I wasted two worms, broke a hook, and lost a hook and a sinker. Bad day. :(

Hope its a short lived flu. Rivers up is a novel idea in Kansas. We cant buy a drop of rain.

When you're not feeling good the whole world goes wrong. The rivers up, the fish aren't biting, the siker willnot hold, and the best place to be is home. But theres good news in River City.... things will get better.:)
