I was thinking of ways that I could get more time on the water. The picture attached was my brainstorm. I am going to run it by my wife tonight. what do you think?

I would just suggest facin th kids th opposite way. instead of lookin into th wind look to th back of th boat. My wife would kill me if I DIDNT wanna take th kids out on th boat. have fun.

just say "Hey Honey, you go shopping this Sat morning, I'll watch the kids..... See you after lunch..."

After about 30 minutes you'll be ready to come home anyway.

I took my 3 year old this past sat, it was a lot of fun
she threw rocks and sticks in the water. Was constantly reeling in her pole and walking around killing minnows.

I decided it may not be wise to take them on the river. After looking around this website, I am afraid some of the catfish in the cape fear could eat my son. Then I would be in big trouble. My wife is in the 82nd airborne (1 tour in Iraq) and can out shoot me most days of the week.

That's hilarious but I hope it's a joke. that would be dangerous as hell to be strapped into that little john boat and something happed to turn it over.

Seriously consider the dangers, over turned boat, low hanging limbs etc. The safest thing would be life vests that fit right. :smile2:

Jeremy the kids look like they are ready to go. However I agree with the others. You need to wait a few years to put that "Brainstorm" into action.Always think safety First.
