I harvested this gobbler on the last day of the Indiana season that I could go (Saturday) due to Mother’s Day on Sunday. He was 23 lbs. and had a 10 inch beard. I have been turkey hunting for several years but this season taught me a lot of lessons. My 5 year old son can’t wait to go with me, he likes to play turkey hunt. Looks like I have to invest in a ground blind for us next year.

Congrats on a nice gobbler. The ground blinds work excellent, especially when you have the younguns with you. They cant quite stay still enough yet:big_smile:.

Nice bird, Congrats. Hopefully your son can join in next year. He might shake the blind down if you get one.
