Hooking a minnow

    Where on the minnow is the best place to hook him.

    I always hook mine through the eyes. It seems to me that when you hook them behind the dorsal fin you loose more minnows when you catch a fish.

    I hook mine from the bottom up thru the lips when crappie fishing,

    i like to hook mine through the tail of the minnow if i am using a bobber the minnow is alive and moving. when i fish them like a jig i hook mine through the lips or eyes either way for me.

    i fish mine exactly like fatcat does. however if my minnor is dead and i am bobber fishing i will go through the lips and just pop it slowly or move my bobber around
