Hook to bait Ratio with pics

    I tried the big bait thing last night but im pretty sure that my hook wasnt big enough,What do you guys think ?

    with bait like that you need like 14/0 gamakatsu Big river hooks..you need to go big hook

    I use an 8/O octopus hook on all ocasions..They have done me good so far.

    I'd try at least a 10/0 king khale hook for that or try one of Mean Gene's(WildWolf) 2 hook rigs...That would probably help.Go for the one with a 10/0 primary and 7/0 or 8/0 for secondary. They are great set-ups,I have a few of them myself.

    BTW,what size was that hook on there?

    Thanks for the quick replies guys.That was a 7/0 Gama circle.And that was probally 1 lb baby buffalo.
