well ive heard of people using either grits or oats and putting ketchup in it and poting it in a pot and cooking it until it gets kinda hard.

    well good luck.:cool2:

I fish for Carp to cut up and use for Catfish bait. The most inexpensive and simple bait I have found is Corn Flakes. I buy the cheapest I can find. I get a hand full crunch it up and stick my fist into the water. I make up a doe ball about the size of my fist and pinch off enough to cover my hook, either trebble or J. It really gets tough and sticky once it dries for a few minutes. Some folks mix Big Red Soda Pop with there corn flakes instead of water, but I have found little difference. Also, some claim a little vanella extract mixed with it makes em come faster. I have never failed catching Carp with just plain o'l Corn Flakes.
