I am tryin to make a livewell for my boat. I want it to be able to hold up to 7 ten pounders or so maybe a little more what is the best and cheapest way to go about this and they have to be able to stay alive for up to 12 hours

get a coleman cooler, a bilge pump, a 90 degree bend, 1ft of pvc and a cap, and some coffee creamer.

take the cap and drill two 3/8 holes in it on the side. Then cap the 1ft section of pvc, and attach the 90 bend. have the 90 come off that bilge pump to where the section of pvc is pointing up. All you need now is a battery and drop that into your cooler to keep the water aired up. The coffee creamer is to keep the amonia down ( the white foam on the water surface )
