I've heard that the the bite picks up after a nice rain. But it poured all day and with all the junk in the water and the current is gonna be ripping. I don't know if I can keep a bait down at the mouths of the creeks I fish so would a small river entering a bigger river still be a good spot? Atleast there the current will be slower and I could keep my bait down. Any help is much appreciated.

find any kind of current break, man made or natural. and fish shallower than normal. you'd be suprised how shallow you can catch those flats especially when the waters up. let us know how you do.

see if you can find where slackwater meets the current, then try it.

Try to find Patcat, and then when you do fish shoulder to shoulder with him. You'll be sure to get into some fish :smile2::eek:oooh:
