I know there was a thread about this earlier but I can't find it. Ya always hear me talkin about usein mackeral for channels and the thread I use for holdin in the gut pocket on the piece I cut. Attached are some pics that may clear up a few questions that I've seen asked several times. Not only about mackeral but also the thread used. The cat pic is just thrown in to show a typical catch for today. We got 10 fish and the sun was shinein. Water was 50 degrees and we fished both tides on a wing dam. Beat the hell outa workin! LOL!
