Anyone ever heard of wild hogs around Perry lake? I thought I heard some this weekend. I know there are some around Clinton but have not heard of any around Perry.

That is what I have heard too. My wife teaches up that way and has heard from some of the kids about the wild hogs around Perry and that neck of the woods.

there useto be some in kindell ks. on the arkansas river about 30 of them
but the fish and game caught and killed them because they said they where not native to kansas and would do more harm than good this was in the late 1990's

Found a rub tree and tracks about 4 years ago while scouting duck hunting spots. Have also spoke with a fellow that had a sow and little ones cross the road in front of him last year. So yes I'd say there were hogs there, just don't kill any..........$5,000 fine!! Dept. of Ag doesn't want them hunted, they would rather spend big bucks for helicopters and door gunners..............bs, feral animal of public land:angry:
