I'm not sure whats going on with the Hocking this year. I took my daughter Wednesday evening i was using shad and gills, she was using night crawlers. I took a skunking with 0 hits and she caught 3 suckers all around 20" and i small rock bass. I finally got permission to fish a spot i hadn't fished for 20 some years. The depth of the hole starts out at 13' which is deep for the hocking.

I THINK IT WILL TURN ON ONCE THE RIVER STABALIZES FROM ALL THE RAIN i was at the mill the back current was pretty stong taking your bait up stream towards the dam actully back againt the bank should have used some bigger sinkers and yes a 13' hole is deep i wonder how deep it is a the mill im sure its pretty deep up close that island below the dam keeps getting bigger with sand being washed out of that hole

At one time i heard it was close to 30' but the dam has changed over the years. But i'd say it's still close to that depth.
