Went out last evening around 6pm in a nice little area of the hocking river. There are alot of log jams in this area so I decided to climb up on top of em. Baited up an dropped the line in an less then a minute had a nice 4lber on. I fished this till around 9:30pm an caught 6 channel cats ranging from around 3lb to 5lb an 3 small tikes. Good eaten for sure as I cleaned these ones for the winter meals! No flats in this area it seems but surely should be with the decent water flow, deepness, an the huge log piles.

Thanks for this valuable report, sounds like some good fishing over there. I have never considered the Hocking for good fishing!

There's some awful nice holes on the hocking. Also small mouth bass capital too!
