My son Chris and i went to the Hocking tonight despite the forecast of heavy rain. Was a slow night as far as bites go. We caught 1 fish apiece. Mine was a 7lb 11 oz flattie. Then my son got ahold of a very good fish that got hung up in some logs. I told him to shine the flashlight into where i thought the fish was hung and went in after it. The water was about waist deep when i got to the logs. Followed his line to the backside of one log and could feel the fish laying behind it. Got it free and son got it the rest of the way in. His PB for a flattie! It was 40" and weighed 28 lbs 1 oz. I think this night is gonna stick with us for a very long time! When i went to take pics the batteries in the camera were dead so i left him there and drove about 5 miles to get batteries so we would have the pics of him and that flattie!
