I cant stand the cabin fever anymore!! It is suppose to be 40 degrees saturday, the river is at a fishable level, and I have shad in the freezer.

I usually dont even think about trying till March, but gonna give it a shot for some channels, if the bank aint so slick I cant stand up...I dont need another back injury that will end my season before it starts!!

Anyone else going out soon?...I actually think I have a fair shot at some channels in this spot, but I know a flathead is out of the question.

I miss the Ole Scioto river.

You need to get Mellon to go on the trip with you!

I may just do that, if it's in the morning. My oldest son has a birthday party @ 5 PM though.

I will be in the big river on Saturday but good luck to you Jack. I have no doubt what so ever that you will get on some channels up under those logs on the Scioto.

Sorry guys I forgot to add my report! I did not fish, I went to a couple of my spots and it was just to slick to even hardly stand up...I did not want to risk another back injury!

i agree no need to hurt yourself further. there will be plenty of time for you to hit the river. but i bet after seeing the river it didnt help matters much lol.
