Matt i saw lots of chunck ice going down the river today. The creeks have water going over the ice now.Tanners might not be open to the river. If i get a chance i`ll drive by on Thursday and let you know.Wish i could of got a pic of today.More ice will be coming as the creeks clear and the river goes up.

I know what you mean as far as it not being safe, but you know what I meant, i always watch my back out there..There are alot of things that can go wrong...But if there are iceburgs flaoting down the river, that makes it 10 times worse, ya know...

Matt i know what you are saying.I would not want someone to think they can get through that stuff to get to open water.

Yep, been thinking of running up the RC Byrd Friday or Saturday and see what's hitting.
Anybody been out lately or heard a report?

I don't know for sure that I will be there.I drive a grey Ranger with white topper and wine colored Buick century.Hope to see you there.
I also use the Ohio side for fishing.I usually check out the spillway with jigs and spoons when I first arrive
