Hey guys im new to this site I would like to say hello to all. Im planning on going out to the Capefear this weekend. I figure the water will be up pretty high with all the rain. Think it would be worth it or should I just wait better weather?

we will be at lock 1 saturday evening for a little tourney with the high water it should be good was last weekend come join us we fish from 6pm till 2 am

I think it would be worth the ride down. Just make sure you are prepaired. Bring a lot of lead. I would say you need atleast 6oz to hold the bottom.

Hey thanks guys wont be able to make the tournament. I have plans to try the chatam county portion of the river tomorrow. I didnt get to make it out today but I definatley will tommorrow. Ill let you know how I do!
