A young boy was shot on Hillside NWR with a shotgun loaded with buckshot by his older brother on accident. We've all seen what kind of damage a shotgun can do. This boy needs to be in everyone's prayers. And everyone should practice proper gun safety.

Sorry to hear this, but like was said before parents need to really teach kids that guns are by no means toys.Kids have to be taught how to safely handle them then they need to go through a hunters safty course.I'll keep it in my prayers!:sad2:

I wonder that there is not a whole lot more gun accidents each hunting season. But when you look at it, there is not any more accidents during season than there is throughout the year. Guns are like hammers, but they hurt more when improperly used.

Me, too... what a terrible burden for that boy to bear, as well. God bless the whole family.

Prayer and well wishes from southern IN. It's so sad when fun turns to tragedy. Like a roller coaster wreck....God bless those folks in their time of need.

Not sure of the status, I just hope he's alright. You got to feel bad for the brother too, he has to live with that the rest of his life.
