Went down to high rock today to do some cat fishing off a dock in flat swamp creek. Fished from 4-dark and caught 7 catfish. Biggest was a channel 8lb 8oz then was a Flathead at 5lb 6oz. Rest was 2lb-5lb. Caught them all on bream mostly live small bream about 3-4 inches long. Didn't seem to want to hit any cut bait. Had cut shad out there and cut bream hoping to catch a blue but didn't get any blues. Are there a lot of blues in high rock? plan to go down next week and fish all night. I would have fished longer today but I forgot my lantern.

Wasnt sure if it was good blue fishing. Next weekend i will just fish for channels and flatheads. I cant go out on my boat because it died on me last weekend im guessing the power pack is bad. :sad2: . Maybe get it fixed someday.

I hear that there are some blues in High Rock, but not really enought to target them. High Rock is mainly a flathead, channel cat lake.
