Soon the high intensity will be switched from a voluntary OPT-IN area to a registered area where access is requested and later approved. The basis of the change is simply more control. Many threads that get heated we chuck into high intensity and allow them to unfold in the hopes they stay civil. Some of these threads are really good, and contain some great exchanges, such as the recent Trot-Line Debate. But at times these threads will steer into threats of bodily harm. Currently we do not have the manpower to go through the 20 Private Mail Cycle on most complaints, it is just easier for us to close it down and move it off site once it crosses the line. With the high intensity going to a gated system, we can modify the one post, and remove the one individual from access, and then conduct the private mail chain on our time schedule. It will be best for all, and help those that really do like to engage in topics that they find passion in, free from people who are only present to cause strife in the membership. When this change happens everyone will be booted from the HI area, and will need to sign-up like you did before. Those accounts will placed in a holding que until approved.
