    Hey rocco, welcome!

I do not know much about flathead, but I would think the spawn as almost over. It's getting to be later in the month... Or I am an idiot and should not speak :D

Either way, welcome and hope to see many posts from ya!! :D

I think that the flatties are about done with the spawn or will be real soon, I have noticed a lot more bites latley on live gills. Any questions just ask i'm sure you'll get more than enough responses to any any fishing question you may have. Good luck

Welcome to the BOC!........the flatties just came out of spawn last week, the last couple we have nailed looked pretty beat up and they were caught in open water which means that they have already came off the nest. But they do NOT spawn at the exact same time so we are still in the ending weeks of bad fishing....we'll be back to full swing flatheading shortley!

Even after they quit, it's kind of hard going for a while. Hot water and bright sunny days and lots of traffic pushes the bite later at night, or that's my theory.

welcome to the boc bro. like a few of my bridge bros have said it's toward the later part of the spawn for flatties so the bite should really start to pick up. the last 2 that I've caught were really beat up from the spawn and caught in more open water than what I usually fish but just be patient it'll be ON here shortly
