hey, help please

    what is the best baits for flatheads on the hocking river Ive tried alot but for some reason i cant catch none of the big ones

    Don't live there but around here it would be live Shad, Gills, Goldfish, or what ever is native to the waters you fish. I always use live bait for flats. Try to fish structure or log jams. Hope this helps.

    i use bluegill and chubs in the hocking river

    You can't go wrong with live Bluegills, you might try changing up the size of bait you use also. Sometimes they like'um big and sometimes not.

    For that system I would try cut shad or live bluegill. Most everyone has the same advice. good luck and let us know how it works for you

    welcome to the BOC..and i am in kansas but on my rivers i would have to say live blue gills or 3-6 inch carp..:smile2::wink:...

    i am not from that area but i use live gills or 3-6 inch live carp they work great for catchin BIG FLATTIES in my area hope this helps with your big cat adventures.:wink:..
