I'm looking to buy a new Kayak and need to make space for it.
I have a sit on top Pelican Tandem kayak 12'9'' with 2 paddles that I need sell.
I'm looking to get one that is suited for the ocean.
This Pelican would be great for Mendota.
    Handles easily with one person.
Very inexpensive way to get off the bank to fish and you can get into those shallow areas with no problem. Stable enough to handle any fish you might catch there or just about any freshwater fish except maybe a monster sturgeon.
Think you'd be interested give me a PM

If I had a vehicle, that would be "Perfect" for my bass fishing, or any fishing for that matter in the delta.
    :canny:
Hey Big Robb - you have a truck - if I were you I would look into getting something like that for the slough. Think about it - you could do alot of damage with something like that.

I wish I could afford it myself, but kinda tight now. I would pick it up at Mendota. That should haul ya around the ocean but maybe get a bit wet.

If I was coming to Mendota I'd bring it to you. Unfortunately I can't make the trip at this time.

The first person to look at my yak took it home.
It was a good deal on a good kayak.I would have rather sold it to a member here but I needed to get rid of it so I have room for a new one.

It was, Gary. After using it a couple of times I was gonna put some rod holders on it and a couple of other up grades but decided to get one that was more suited to the ocean. It will cost me considerably more but I think in the long run I'll be happier with a different yak

I'll try and post a photo once I get it.
I ordered it today and paid half. Will pay the other half when I pick it up in a day or two.
Cobra Fish & Dive in red, Comes with 4 flush mount rod holders, two 10'' round hatches, one 12x18 hatch, 1 very high quality high back seat and a Cobra Powerflex paddle. Will still have to have a fsh finder installed and a motor mount for the ol' trolling motor for when I don't feel like Paddling but that will have to wait a while.
