some how i posted before i got finished...i spend most of my time crappie fishing the big sandy..when i catfish i fish paris landing..danville..new johnsonville..anyone eles fish these areas...

Welcome aboard! My family used to fish Reelfoot every year for 4 or 5 days. Awesome crappie and catfish action!

I fish it at New Johnsonville, but not for crappie. Crappie hate me.

Chuck, welcome to the BOC and the TENNESSEE thread. I used to fish the TN. river alot when I was younger. My grandparents had a cabin at Eagle Creek resort. We mainly fished from the I-40 bridge to New J-ville. I fish mostly the Cumberland River nowadays. It's a little closer and there's actually some decent current from time to time! My Dad and Uncle fished New J-ville a couple weeks ago and couldn't even manage a bite. They've been fishing for years and know how to catch fish. I guess it might of just been a bad day.
Welcome to BOC, We went to Paris Landing 2 weeks ago. We couldn't even get as bite. We fished right down from the Swimming area. :cool2:
