Hi Weldon, welcome to the BOC. I live in the LA erea. I right off the 710 Freeway. I fished Corona twice. Just like Scott said, try by the tulies. If ya go strait out from the boat dock I say maybe about 40-50 straight out is a good erea. Hot bait for me was mackeral dipped in Hog Wild. Here is the kicker part, pour some beer in the Hog Wild:crazy:
P.S. try to flyline your bait.

I lived in the creekside area of Ontario for years until recently. Will likely come back that way soon as I still visit out there a lot and keep my boat in the area. Corona is not a hard lake to fish just a lot of snaggs. Anywhere near structure will do. Been years since I fished it but when I did we caught a mess of channels back in the day. Its the perfect slip bobber lake if you want to keep your bait out of snaggs. Flylining is also a good method there too. Irvine is opening this weekend for cats and they are having a tournament Saturday. Your truly will be in the house to try to win the marbles if all works well. Give that a shot too this season it is a better lake and bigger grades of cats.
