Been fishing most of my 68 yrs., but mostly bank fishing. I just bought a new Crestliner1750 fish hawk and can't wait to go after big blues. Can anyone tell me which whicker seeker rod is better, the GFX or the FMJ ? They really don't tell you the difference.

Hell yeah on the boat. I have nice WarEagle but I want to upgrade to something like you got. Send some pics when you get it dressed out.

If looking at Whisker Seeker rods and stuff, 367 Bait Shop, carries there stuff or will order it for you. That is where I have bought my WS rods from, no shipping charges.
I actually have called and they ordered rods and things for me. I love the WS triple threat 8/0 hooks
I have the MH rods and I would not go any lighter then that
they are off of 367 in North county in STL, just an old house converted to a bait shop. I would call before you go.
other place is in Alton, Bluff City outdoors, they have about every brand of rods in stock(except WS) and sometimes if talking nicely they will come down in price, also just opened up a super bow shop, so stop in and buy a rod and a bow...

let me know when the walleye are biting below the dam :)

I just saw on CNN and the internet that the EPA is recomending that no fish be eaten from any river or lake in the US. PFAS contamination from eating one fish is the same as drinking contaminated water for a month.

I'm not sure about the rod but congratulations on getting your boat, that will be a lot of fun even if the fish aren't biting.

You bet. A lot of people get food from our rivers and lakes. This is tragic. What about cattle that drink the water? Is the FDA testing for PFAS in meat? Crop irrigation? Do plants take it up? A lot of farm ground is in a flood plain. I believe it said that one fish has over 700 times the allowable limit.

Haha, we did And we are. These unusual members that join and use one word sentences typically try to scam one or more members in some way before it is done. Admin does a good job of nipping it in the bud , you might say.
