This is my bait tank, it sits on my back porch all year round and consists of a 30 gallon rubbermaid box, a fish pump, air line, bubble stone, and a filter. It's a simple set up, nothing fancy some might call it a "hillbilly aquarium" but no matter what you call it, it still gets the job done. I've kept these fish in this set up for over a year now. At night or whenever I'm not home, I put the lid on the box, in order to keep the critters and the hot or cold weather off them . I took some pictures today and thought I would share. If anyone has any suggestions or would like to show their set up I'd be interested in seeing it.

Looks good. I have found it's much easier to keep things like goldfish and carp alive in the hot weather versus gills, suckers, etc...

What kind of pump/filter is that?

No James, I haven't been keeping the same fish for a year, what I meant to say is, I've been keeping fish successfully in this set-up for over a year now. Sorry for the confusion. Although I have had some of those fish in my pictures for over a year now because I bought them when they were small last winter to let them grow and to try out my bait tank set-up.

Kevin that really looks like a really good setup. I would like to set one up, but I was wondering what kind of filter you have on the right side of tank. I all ready have a wisper air pump for the air stones.

Mike, it's just a Tetra 30 gallon filter, I got it at Wally-World.
