here's a good one

    we were catching some channel cats today on cut perch when momma hooked this thing. she got it in, we took some pictures and let it go. i used to eat the heck out of these things and this one would be the perfect size, but now we just see how big of one we can catch and send them on their way!

    nice catch even tho it wasnt a cat ,now i bet if ya really tried to just catch turtles it wouldn't happen .. lol

    Very nice catch.

    Use to catch a turtle or two when I pond fish. Now I fish in the river, I rarely see a turtle. They do make a nice meal, but I usually set them free.

    :smile2: Congrats on the hoss of a turtle. LOL. Please tell me you.. Didnt release him back in the water?? If so... NOOOO take a small axe and chop their heads off when you get em. They mess up our fishing!:confused2::smile2::wink:

    NOOOOOO..You don't kill something like that just to kill it so you don't have to go through the headache of dealing with em..Talk about unethical..If your gonna kill an animal @ least have the decency to use it..Plus some of these turtles like the alligator snapper is an endangered species..
