First I want to say hello to you all, Im new on this forum and to cat fishing. We are going to Tillery this weekend and are going to fish for cats. Right now im planning on getting some big bass minnows and catching some bream or perch for bait. Can anyone provide any tips or locations for where to fish. Im not looking for anyones "spot" just a general area of the lake or depth that we should start at. Thanks in advance.

Hi Eric
Welcome to the site. I have had luck at the bridge where 24 crosses the lake. I would start out 200 yards up the lake from the bridge and drift through the center of the bridge. I have picked up and released many cats through there in the past.
Hope you catch some.

It is the full moon in may !!!! You need to go up river !!! Fish are spawnning.. You need to be fishing around marrow mt camp ground.. All the way up to the dam, just watch for rocks.. Catch shad in shallow water in the dark.. Around swifts island, lillys bridge or in the back of a cove....
