Can you be more detailed? Are you tying your line to the reels spool, a swivel, a hook, or something else? What kind of line are you using, monofilament or braided specta?

If you are trying to tie new line to the spool then the arbor knot is great.

Luke the arbor knot will work ok. If you are useing a braided line you might want to add some mono backing. This will keep your knot from slipping. :smile2:

I always use the arbor knot on my Abus and all of my baitcasters. Its a great not for the monofilament I use.

i have also used a few wraps of electrical tape on the spool before tying braid on.
