Help Please

    I have a 30 h. Evinrude that runs fine ,then it starts bucking and as long as you don't open it up to much it will run. when you try to open it up it bucks. stop pull the top off to look around ( at I don't know what) start it, open it up and it runs fine ,maybe all day maybe not. Any ideals??????????:confused2::confused2::confused2:

    Sounds like an air problem, too little getting to the mix. Check that out and be sure the fuel lines are clean. Hope this helps.

    Sounds like an exhaust leak getting back into the cowling and not letting the engine have any air to breathe

    The problem with this motor was that the water pump had lost 3 of the 6 impellers and the temp override was doing it's job by shutting the motor down. have not got the bill or the boat picked up yet but at least it is fixed. Dealer said that the water pump should be checked at least every 4 years. Great dealer!:big_smile::big_smile::big_smile:
