help me find some catfish yo yo's - What kind of yo yo's are the best

    Bass Pro and Cablea's is where I have gotten mine. I'm not sure if Catfish Connection has them. You can buy them by the dozen, it's cheaper. When you get them Let me know and I will help you modify them.

    Michale, Be sure to check your state laws, In some states they are illegal to use. I got mine at the local wal-mart. If your wal-mart does not have ask to talk to the manager or the sports section. If the wal-mart does not carry the Yo-yo's,If you pre-pay they will order them for you.:)

    I went to cabelas and don't know which material is better.they have a polypropylene yo yo and a metal galvanized yo yo. the polyprpoylene is more expensive, don't know why.

    I was wondering which type is better because at cabelas polypropylene costs more.

    I have the galvanized ones and have had them for about 5 years and still working great.

    i got a couple or galvanized metal yo - yos ive had for years now they still work perfect. they are also illegal in TX :glare:

    Mine are the galvanized. I have had them for a while and they still work well!!:)

    Mine is kinda sparkly and has a 3 foot string, you can do around the world, walk the dog and all kinda stuff on them. The dang thing never has caught any fish though LOL. :cat:

    Plan on changing everything except the metal and spring if you are going after large fish. The tackle it comes with is great for eatin' size fish but tears up real fast if something with size gets on. I bought a 12 box at BP. Coulda probably got it cheaper elsewear.

    I don't know what size fish you are wanting to catch but a decent size fish will ruin a yo-yo. The are mainly good for smaller cats.
