Does any of the Eastern Boys know who can fix my Pflueger reel? I just got it brand new and the drag isnt working and the warranty just ran out? HELP HELP Or should I just get rid of it and buy the NEW Shimano Baitrunner?

Sorry I can't help ya there, Randy, but you could do 2 things:

    1. Contact Pflueger themselves and see what they can do.
    2. Find a place local. Ask you local bait and tackle shop. I once sent a reel to western PA to get fixed. I believe it was Jeffersonville or Jefferson? I dunno

Good luck, it's only one washer that you need so it shouldn't be a problem.

  3. French Creek Outfitters

    Sportfishing Outlet
Germantown Pike west of Rt.202/Swede St. next to 7-11.
    Norristown, Pa.

If you get a new reel, try the Penn Captiva Liveliner reel. I love mine and it handles big fish well.

If you're on the verge of canning the thing, why not take it apart and see if you can fix it? Whaddaya got to lose?

Take your digital camera, and take lots of pics as you go, if you're unsure of yourself.

Before you start, locate a parts source, and get a schematic. This is prolly the strongest argument in favor of Penn reels, btw...their product support is as good as it gets.
