yesterday i went to hawesville/ cannelton. i wasnt at the dam i was just trying to ancor and fish some deep holes. here was the problem. there wasnt much current and the wind was blowing pretty good. when i wasnt ancored the wind was blowing the boat toward hawesville which isnt the way the current flows. i ancored off the front cause i fish out the back. well the wind kept blowing the back around. so i ancored off the front and the back and it still turned the boat everywhere. is there something im doing wrong or in high winds should i just stay home?

A small drift sock out the back will stabilize your boat right nice. You might still move a little but not enough to bother you.:smile2:
