im coming the last week in july to visit and would like to go fishing with my dad and possibly catch a few cats any help would be great thanks in advance:cowboy:

thanks fellas what is a good spot there i dont remember a whole lot about that place except fishing from the steep hill of rocks for crappie and white bass ?

If fishing from boat if you go to the far end of the lake by the islands there is a hole before you get to the first island that is like 8 to 10 feet i have heard of a lot of nice cats coming from there havent had a chance to fish it yet though. if fishin from the bank i have caught a lot of eatter size channels and a couple nice sized channels off of the new boat ramps (not the boat ramp at the marina.)

but other than that im not real sure on any other spots.

Snyder Park on Bechtel Avenue. I go there quite often when I get off work. A lot of flatheads in the 15 pound range, and have heard of a couple blues and flats between 40-60 pounds caught out of there.

wow didnt see that coming i remember fishing there when i was a kid, didnt know there were cats that big in there, does all the hotrods still cruise around the park?
