Caught a cat w/ a air-sac(red to clear w/ veins) coming from anal hole. What do I do? Thanks.
I would turn it loose as fast as I could and then go to my happy place for a few minutes. But hey...that's just me.
It has had to much to eat.
Most likely it was a Ark. Blue cat and his hemroids were hanging out. Their primary diet is mussels and when they try to excrete the shells they get roids. Same as humans when they don't have fiber in their diet.
Yep, seen it lots of times.
You're suppose to take your finger and push it back in!!

Seriously, put it back in the water and it will be fine.
It is how they excrete the oversized mussel shells from their system. This time of year they consume a lot of mussels, and many times you will catch them with their lower bowels on the outside of their body as they excrete the shells.
Yep, we see it a bunch in the river down here. Not every fish but more than you'd think are "blown out" so to speak:smile2:
man..poor fish, i do feel for them lol:smile2:
You mean I gotta put Preparation H in my tackle box now... :confused2:
