I'm new to the board here and was wondering if anybody had any ideas about good spots that are close to me. I live in Lexington and fish Jacobson Park when I get the chance (a.k.a. when I can leave the wife and kid at home), but haven't had much luck there. Thought about the Kentucky River at Boonesboro, but I've never been down there. Any ideas?

    Thanks for the Welcome Steven!

I don't have a boat. How is the bank fishing from either the Ferry or Boonesboro?

Thanks for the Welcome John. How's the fishing at Taylorsville Lake been lately? Thinking about maybe trying it out. If I remember right, they have little john boats you can rent down there if the bank fishings no good.

I have not fished Taylorsville that much this year. I also am a bank fisherman but I do have a buddy who has a 20' jon boat that he takes to Taylorsville, he has been doing quite well lately using jugs.
