I'm gonna try my luck here real soon(about 6:15-6:30) and see if I can't get on to some more flatties. So far I have froze skippies, froze gills and maybe a Trout head or 2...

I'm gonna stop on my way and hope my pond thats stocked with warmouths will bite again. The last few years I've caught bunches of them there. I think if I have live bait it'll help out a lot!
I just hope I can get on to some some bigger ones today and upgrade my baby 3#'er. I plan on heading out about 6-6:30am.

Wish me luck and I'll post my results or how bad I did when I get back...

Just for fun, I'll be back by 10 or 11 at the latest so I'll include a poll... The poll will be over once I get home and post my results.

    Thanks, John!

Ya I voted, can't say you went fishing without getting at least 1 drum. LOL:smile2:

If you get one thats 5-8 pounds, you think you got a monster, till you see what it is.

I've only caught 1 Drum in that area on a crawler that was about 2 pounds. Just don't seem to be many there. The Flatties are there more than any other fish with the occasionally Mooneye.

Well I just got back.....I had a few runs but no takers. I caught out of the golf course pond some of the biggest warmouth I've caught in a while and some very nice gills. Not to mention when I was on the phone with Mike(RiverRunt) I managed to jam an 8/0 hook into my finger...That hurt like a S.O.B.!!!
The gills and Warmouth also did a number on me with their fins, my fingers and hands are sore....:smile2:
Mac & Skippie, you 2 win the grand prize!!! Reps from lil ol' me...:smile2:

Thanks to all that voted for me to do good and the ones that voted bad, Thank You!!!:big_smile:

True, a week or so ago I was having serious thoughts if I was gonna be able to fish any for a while. Luckily the pain has eased up enough to allow me to go. Granted, its still hard on me and I'm paying for it for days to come but its well worth it.:roll_eyes::smile2::cool2:

John, nothing personal on predicting a skunk, I had to work my butt off yesterday morning to get two cats. The morning bite appears to be off and in my location, the evening and night time bite is best.
